Scarce U.S. Inspected C.S. Pettengill Army Model Double Action Percussion Army Revolver
German silver cone front and groove rear sights, with Pettengill and Raymond & Robitaille patent markings surrounding the sight groove. The barrel and cylinder is marked "WP", with matching numbers on the cylinder, trigger guard and butt. Smooth two piece grips, with a very faint cartouche on the left panel. With notes about Pettengill's history from the estate detailing also this revolvers purchase in 1966.

Condition: Good, with a rough mixed brown and gray patina overall, showing dings, scratches and pitting. The front sight has been lowered. Grips are fair, with chipping and dings. Mechanically functions, but is a little loose.
