DCM Rifle sales summary lists this serial number as a National Match (NM) with the five directly preceeding serial numbers as NMB, B-stock, 1282750-754. Very limited production of approximately 250 rifles. The barrel is marked with a star on the muzzle and "S A/flaming bomb/9-27" just behind the front sight. Fixed front and ladder rear sight without 2,850 yard notch. There is a Lyman fully adjustable rear peep sight on the right rear of the receiver. The serialized polished bolt is electropenciled to match the gun. Mounted on a smooth walnut Model 1922 M1 style pistol grip stock with "circled P" proof on the front of the wrist, two reinforcing bolts and a checkered steel buttplate with trapdoor holding a cleaning rod/oiler. With a brass muzzle/sight cover marked "P.J. O'HARE/SOUTH ORANGE, N.J./MADE IN U.S.A." and a rear sight cover marked with the same.

Condition: Excellent with 90% plus original finish overall with some high edge and muzzle wear with the floor plate having turned to a brown patina. The stock is excellent with some scattered minor scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent. 1903 Springfield National Match style B's are rare!
