Manufactured circa 1857-1860. The top of the rib is marked with the one line address, with the patent dates marked around the center of the cylinder and the serial number is marked on the butt. Blade front sight, blue barrel and cylinder, with silver plated brass frame and fitted with smooth rosewood grips.

Condition: Very fine. The barrel and cylinder retain 50% original blue finish, with a smooth mottled brown patina on the balance. The frame retains 95% original silver plating. The grips are excellent with 97% original varnish, some lower edge wear and a few minor handling marks. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
