It is estimated that only 105 16 gauge Parker CH Grade shotguns were produced with this example manufactured in 1920. Dual bead sights (mid-bead missing) on a matte solid rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS, MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A.", 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked extra full/extra full, and ejectors. The rear of the solid rib has been tapped for scope mounting. The water table has the patent dates, "CH/[serial number]/4" and an illegible marking in electric pencil. Scroll engraved box lock action with a hunting dog and "PARKER BROS" on the sides and a stag on the underside. Double triggers and automatic tang safety. Checkered splinter forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with vented recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches.

Condition: Very good. The barrels retain 30% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The receiver retains traces of original case colors in the protected areas with the balance a smooth gray patina. The wood is fine with some minor handling marks and a hairline stress crack near the upper tang and freshened finish with smooth forearm checkering and overall crisp pistol grip checkering. Recoil pad has age hardened. A rare 16 gauge Parker with extra long barrels.
