Manufactured in 1865. Japanese characters are present on the left and right barrel flats. The top of the barrel rib is stamped with the one line Springfield address (faint). The cylinder has the one line patent dates marking. The revolver has the three pin top strap. Ffitted with smooth grips. The right grip panel is numbered to the gun. The butt of the left grip panel is also stamped with a Japanese character.

Condition: Good. The barrel retains 70% original silver which has pleasantly darkened with age and exhibits areas of spotting down the length. The frame retains 60% original silver also darkening with age showing cleaning concentrated on the side plate and cylinder. The grips are good with a large shallow chip on the left panel and minor overall handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
