This Grade "J" single barrel trap gun was manufactured by A.H. Fox of Philadelphia, Pa. between 1919 and 1936 producing approximately 460. This shotgun was made in 1920 and features 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked full, and extractor. The left rear of barrel has the one line address and the right side is marked "CHROMOX FLUID STEEL". The receiver features a fine scroll engraving with "FOX" inside a banner on each side. The scrollwork extends to the break lever and trigger guard. The forearm and straight grip high comb stock are checkered. The buttstock has been altered and is fitted with a solid Kick-Eez recoil pad. Length of pull: 14 inch.

Condition: Very good. The barrel retains 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth gray patina with the receiver retaining 40% original case colors. The forearm is excellent with some scattered minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. The stock is very good with a few minor pressure dents, some minor dings and scratches, with overall crisp checkering.
