Blade front and tangent rear sights with fine adjustment screws, "1914" date on the chamber and "crown/ ERFURT" on the toggle. "Crown/ gothic letter" proofs are present on many parts, with Imperial Eagle firing proofs on the barrel, extension and breech and a Revision Commission stamp on the trigger guard. Matching numbers are present on the pistol. Grips are checkered, with "EWE" branded into the right panel, and the magazine is blue with a hardwood base.

Condition: Very fine as partially refinished (straw small parts), with 80% of the blue finish, showing patches of brown patina on the frame and an isolated patch of pitting. 70% of the professionally restored straw finish is visible, with a bright patina on the remainder, and traces of niter blue in the protected areas. Grips are very fine as period customized (see above), with a few pressure dents. Capable of firing with the thumb safety engaged, otherwise mechanically fine.
