Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
Rectangle lapis earrings have a hinged heart-shaped moonstone dangling from the bottom, set in sterling silver. Lapis measures approximately 9 mm wide x 15.5 mm long, heart measures 7 mm long by 7.3 mm wide. Overall earring measures 25.5 mm in height, each earring weighs approximately 4 g for total weight of 8 g. Both earrings are stamped Sajen and .925.
