ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 38 S&W. S# 710806. Bbl. 6". Model 1905 M&P 4th Change double action revolver mfg. by Smith & Wesson. The left side of the bbl. is marked "SMITH & WESSON", with the cal. designation marked on the right. Right side of frame is marked with the S&W trademark logo, followed by "MADE IN U.S.A.". Frame, cyl., and bbl. exhibit a blue finish, with the trigger and hammer exhibiting a case color hardened finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips, with the butt featuring a lanyard swivel. Half-moon blade front sight with frame notched rear sight. All numbers are matching and are present on the frame, cyl., ejector, bbl., as well as on the interior of the right grip panel. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some mild wear, with some superficial handling marks and some scattered flecks of oxidation. Grip straps exhibit thinning that shows through to a pleasing brown patina. Case colored components retain the majority of their original factory finish, exhibiting some light wear and some scattered flecks of oxidation overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting consistent mild pitting and strong rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing and some scattered marks from handling and storage, with the right panel exhibiting a chip at the top right corner of the panel.
