Cal. 32-20. S# 129226. Bbl. 6". Mfg. 1915-1940. Double action revolver built on the square butt K frame w/ 5 screws. 6 shot, fluted cylinder. 6" round, pinned barrel. Blued finish. Forged, round blade front sight. Square cut notch rear service sight. Checkered diamond walnut grips w/o medallions. Serial number matching on butt, cylinder face, behind extractor & barrel. Barrel marked "32-20 CTG" on right side & "SMITH & WESSON" on left side. Marked "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. / PATENTED FEB. 6. 06. SEPT. 14. 09. DEC. 09. 14." on top. .265" checkered hammer spur. Smooth trigger. Smooth forestrap & backstrap. S&W trademark on left side of frame below cylinder release. Marked "MADE IN U.S.A." on right side of frame below cylinder. Right pistol grip marked "129226" in pencil on inside. CONDITION: Finish mostly complete & consistent w/ scattered light thinning & staining. Grips in very nice condition, w/ checkering still well defined & only a few very light impressions around edges. Timing appears to be correct. Bore is bright w/ strong rifling. (23-5195/JZ). CURIO. $300-500.
