Sight base marked "P". Quality H.M.C. carbines were noted for their use of lateral support from other contractors. Bbl. band with bayonet lug and wire swivel marked "JM". Straight cut slide marked "SG". Receiver made with separate recoil spring tube. Flat bolt marked ".U.". Stamped trigger guard marked "BE-B". Push button safety marked "SW". Mag. catch marked "CC". Straight cut hammer marked "HI". High wood oval cut walnut stock. Buttstock is marked on right side with faint boxed "RIA FB". End of pistol grip is marked with "3" and "Z". Sling slot is marked "IO". Two rivet handguard marked "IO". Green websling. MAGS: 2 - 15 rd. and 1- 5 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: green web mag. pouch marked "U.S. BOYT 43". CONDITION: stock set has nice appearing arsenal rework finish over wear and scattered handling marks. Notable area of filler at belly. Metal retains 80% original wartime parkerized finish with light wear except for replacement barrel band replacement lug which retains most of its darker parkerized finish. Very good shiny bore.
