Available for bidding in this lot is a set of three No. 1 traps, and one No. 1 1/2. Three of these traps are S. Newhouse, while one trap is a Norton Hawley No. 1. The No. 1 traps have a jaw spread of 4", while the 1 1/2 has a jaw spread of 4 7/8". Because of the patent dates stamped on the pans, it is believed these single spring traps are believed to originate from 1902 - 1911. All four of the traps have listed on their pans "Oneida Community N.Y.", as well as their respective makers mark. All-in-all, these traps are in good condition. The largest is the S. Newhouse 1 1/2 which measures approximately 9 1/2" wide without the length of drag chain, as well it is 3 1/4" tall, and 4" deep.
