Rusty relic Smith carbine in Relic condition, stock period carved “Found at Devil’s Den July 3rd, 1878, Orrin Wilcox 144th N.Y. Vols”. A very intriguing relic with interesting inscription in the fact thatDevil’s Den was named for its peculiar landscape and was located south of Gettysburg. It was given its name by being held by Confederate sharpshooters. It shows an incredibly sharp cartouche at wrist andwas possibly found during a reunion or GAR event. Est: $1,000 - $2,000
