Our Assessment: The Ruger 10/22 is a series of semi-automatic rifles produced by American firearm manufacturer Sturm, Ruger & Co., chambered for the .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridge. It uses a patented 10-round rotary magazine, though higher capacity box magazines are also available. The standard carbine version of the Ruger 10/22 has been in production continuously since 1964. The 10/22 is popular for small-game hunters and those who want an inexpensive rifle for firing inexpensive ammunition for target, plinking and survival use. This popularity has led to many after-market modifications being available to improve performance, augment the rifle's looks, or increase its magazine capacity, making the 10/22 one of the most customizable firearms ever made.This well maintained Ruger 10/22 was manufactured in 2022 and is in excellent, Near New condition. This rifle has a well-preserved 18 1 ⁄ 2'' blued barrel, a lightweight and weather resistant black checkered synthetic stock, a great bore, tip top mechanics and comes with one 10 round magazine. This Ruger Carbine has a Positive, push-button, cross-bolt manual safety and comes with a rail that can be mounted on the receiver, all you need are some rings and a scope (not included). Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade that is dovetailed to the barrel, the rear sight is a flip up adjustable U notch that is dovetailed to the barrel. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The one piece checkered synthetic stock has a capped pistol grip, barrel band, straight comb, and curved plastic buttplate. The stock shows a couple of light handling and storage marks. The LOP measures 13.25" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stocks rate in about excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99-100% of its metal finish. There are a couple of light handling and storage marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
