Included in this lot for bidding is an antique Roseville jardiniere and pedestal in the famous Donatello pattern. The Donetello is featured in about 100 Roseville forms, and was incepted in 1915 by Harry Rhead, after a trip to Europe. The Donetello line was manufactured up until 1925. The Donatello pattern was the first line of products to bring National acclaim to Roseville Pottery. Both the jadrinier and pedestal show an earthenware base color, with typical green and light brown finish. The piece is in good condition overall, there is no apparent cracks or chips, but both segments show some crazing. The jardiniere and pedestal measure approximately 10 1/2" across the top, and 23" tall.
