Rockwood Towing Vehicle Auction — Garage Keepers Act — Closes Wednesday August 5 @ 6:00pm
Closings begin at 6:00pm. 1 lot closes every 5 minutes. Bids within the final 60 seconds extend that lot by 2 minutes.
Vehicles in this sale are being sold under The Garage Keepers Act (C.C.S.M. c. G10) on behalf of Rockwood Towing. Buyers receive a Bill of Sale and a Statutory Declaration. There is no Transfer of Ownership Document. Read Section 5 before bidding.
Bidding is a binding contract. Placing a bid commits you to pay for the vehicle, including buyer's fee, taxes, and any storage costs. No cancellations.
1. Buyer's Fees & Taxes
10% internet buyer's fee on all purchases
2% processing fee on credit card payments
Manitoba RST is not collected by McSherry Auction on these vehicles. RST is payable to MPI or your Autopac agent at the time of registration, calculated on MPI's valuation.
GST applies as shown on your invoice
2. Payment
Invoices are emailed by 9:00am the day after the sale. If you select to pay with credit card, it will be charged shortly after the invoices are emailed. Unpaid invoices on day 7 will have storage fees added and the card on file will be charged.

3. Viewing & Removal

Monday–Saturday 9am–5pm, closed 12–1pm daily. Closed Sundays.
Vehicles are on site and available for viewing during regular hours before the sale. We strongly encourage you to inspect any unit you intend to bid on.
Vehicles must be paid for and removed within 6 calendar days of the sale ending. Storage charges of $75 per week begin on day 7, even on paid invoices. Vehicles left beyond 30 days may be treated as abandoned and resold — even if paid for.
Assume every unit requires towing or trailering. Vehicles are not guaranteed to start, run, steer, or brake. Buyers are responsible for arranging their own removal, including any equipment required to load a non-rolling unit. Loader available when required.
4. Condition — As-Is, Where-Is
All vehicles are sold as-is, where-is, with all faults, and with no guarantees or implied warranties of any kind, including no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, roadworthiness, or condition.
Vehicles have not been started, tested, road-tested, or inspected. Mileage shown on any odometer is not verified and is not warranted. Photos and descriptions are provided as a courtesy only — we do not guarantee completeness, functionality, or accuracy beyond what is written.
No refunds. No exchanges. No exceptions. Vehicles are available for inspection on site — inspect before you bid.
5. Ownership & Registration
These vehicles are being sold under The Garage Keepers Act to recover unpaid towing and storage charges. Buyers receive a Bill of Sale and a Statutory Declaration form.
No Transfer of Ownership Document is provided. Registering the vehicle in your name is your responsibility, and you will need to complete the statutory declaration process through an Autopac agent.
