Replica flintlock pistol marked “Tower”, .60 cal., 11-1/2” barrel, nickel finish, wood stock, brass mountings, belt hook, good action; per consignor, this piece was specially ordered and used in the 2003 movie “Master and Commander” based on novels by Patrick O’Brian featuring his main characters Captain Jack Aubrey and Dr. Stephen Maturin aboard the HMS Surprise during the Napoleonic wars; reportedly some 20 pistols were sold off by Track of the Wolf. No formal documentation accompanies this lot beyond consignor’s attribution. Est.: $400-$800.
