Remington rolling block single shot rifle, dated 1901, 7mm cal., 30” round barrel, brown finish, wood stocks, #NVSN, with bayonet, metal scabbard and leather hanger. This gun is in overall fair to good condition and wood benefit from a careful cleaning and oiling; dark patina to metal with scattered pitting; surprisingly good bore, action and markings; wood is overall well-worn but good with scattered mars, scratches and a punch dotdesign or lettering on the left side of the butt stock; bayonet and scabbard are good. This model and caliber were popular with Villa’s troops in Mexico during the border wars. Est.: $500-$900.
