Remington model 1891 Target in scarce .32-20 caliber, blue and case hardened finish, varnish wood commercial grade stocks, 10” half round half octagon barrel, one of only 4 known. Serial #221. Refer Remington Rolling Block Pistols by Jerry Landskron page 203. The pistol shows Remington address reading from breech to muzzle on round part of barrel. The pistol remains in very good plus to near fine original condition with 90-95% original bright blue. Some light erosion just starting and normal aging. The frame shows 75-85% case hardening with some rainbow hues slightly drifting to sliver with some just starting erosion. The varnish wood grips are very good plus to near fine with some minor nicks and marks. The small parts and screw show most of their original finish. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp, the bore is very good with a couple areas of light erosion. The original front and rear sights are retained. From the Jerry Landskron collection.
