Remington model 1871 Army model .50 caliber centerfire, US martial issue Rolling Block pistol in fine to near mint original condition, blue and case hardened finish, cartouche wood stocks, serial #2652. The barrel shows approx. 96-98% original blue, some slight wear at the muzzle, a couple of minor storage type miniscule marks. The frame shows 96-98% plus original bright case hardening that is still very colorful and just aging slightly. The cartouche wood stocks are fine to excellent with razor sharp C.R.S. marks with one small chip to inner edge. The inside of strap is marked in painted letters “30-340” “1970” which indicate Don Ware inventory numbers, which are easily removable. Small parts show bright origina straw and blue finished. The bore excellent to near mint. 9.8 plus on a 1-10 scale. Provenance: Don Ware, Jerry Landskron collection. Est: $3,500 - $7,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
