Also known as the Model 4, this derringer was produced between 1912 to 1935. Top of the barrel rib marked "REMINGTON ARMS--U.M.C. CO. ILION, N.Y.", with the blade front and notch rear sights, a six-pointed star and arrow marked under the barrel latch, and the serial number on the underside of the barrel. Blue finish, with a blue barrel latch, smooth spur trigger, serrated extractor and hammer and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips.

Condition: Very fine. The derringer retains 80% of the original matte blue finish with some cold blue touch-up on the left side of the barrel, as well as some minor pitting in the same area. There is a small area of flaking on the upper right side barrel and an area of flaking and some thinning on the lower barrel. The grips are excellent with some very light high point wear and crisp checkering. The markings are clear and crisp. The mechanics are excellent.
