Remington Rolling Block single shot pistol, Navy marked, .50 cal., 8-1/2” round barrel, wood grip and forend, #NVSN in overall good condition showing a grey patina to metal surfaces, fair bore, good action and markings, anchor marking ontop of barrel at breech, good wood with no visible inspector cartouche; the first of the Remington Rolling Block pistols and easily identified by the spur trigger; per Flayderman’s, manufactured between 1866 and 1870; approx. 6,500 produced.(Antique).
