Remington Model 700 Police bolt action rifle, .308 Win. caliber, 24” round barrel, low luster finish, wood stock, leather sling, S/N C6232359.US.; mounted with a Redfield 3X-9X scope displaying crisp optics. This rifle is in excellent condition showing little if any use and minimal handling; mirror bore, crisp action, sharp markings and fine wood stock. Accompanying the gun is a copy of an article on Remington Law Enforcement Products thatcovers the history of this and other specialty 700 Models; in part, the section on the Police rifle states “Since 1986 Remington has been quietly producing a 700 Police Rifle. Many Remingtons have been sold over the years for such purposes. Even though Remington recommends several of their rifles for police use, the 700 Police Rifle specifically addresses that market. It is very similar to the original M40 MarineSniper Rifle. The Police Rifle offers a choice between the .223 and the .308 Win. The stock is walnut with a smooth low luster finish. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
