Remington Model 1890 single action revolver in .44-40 caliber with factory 5 ¾” barrel, nickel plated, hard rubber grips, serial number 257. This Remington retains 80% to 90% original unpolished nickel finish with someeven losses and slight beginning erosion where the nickel has lifted. The edges are sharp and crisp. The markings are well defined. The barrel shows correct address and the pistol is mounted with a factory lanyard ring in the butt. The front sight is slightly trimmed at the front but nearly its full height. The action is good and the bore is good. The grips show an excellent repair at the right rear heel. The ejector rodhousing and pin are unabused. Est.: $2,500-$5000.
