Remington-Lee Magazine Model 1885 U.S. Navy contract bolt action rifle, .45-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, blue finish, wood stock, leather sling, #51309 in overall un-cleaned very good condition showing a brown patina with scattered area and spots of surface rust from long storage, very good bore, crisp action and markings including Naval inspections on top of receiver including No. 2153; good wood stock showing an old re-varnish and “1144” stamped on top of butt stock near butt plate; quantity made of this Model for the Navy estimated at only 1,500.
