Remington-Lee 1879 magazine bolt action rifle U.S. Navy Model, .45-70 cal., 29” barrel, blue finish, sling swivels, cleaning rod, #251 in overall good condition showing a light grey patina with scattered spots of erosion on metal surfaces, bore may clean to good; sharp markings including U.S., anchor and W.W.K. markings on left side of barrel at breech; H.N. inspector marks in same location plus on top of left side of receiver, top flat of bolt handle, left side of magazine release, front of floor plate and left side of back of bolt; crisp action, overall good wood with scattered old mars and scratches from carry and storage; approx. 1,300 manufactured.
