Remington .41 caliber over/under derringer, Type-3 Remington Arms Company address, showing 48mm address with “CO” showing gap. Refer Remington Double Derringers by Drummond, page 112. The derringer shows70-80% original nickel evenly drifting and toning with some light erosion and pinprick pitting just starting where the nickel has lifted. The hinges are completely intact, the edges are crisp, the grips are good to verygood the bores are slightly rough. The derringer is cased in a gambler style display case with two rounds of ammunition, deck of old playing cards showing steam boat, dice, and three old poker chips including one fromThe Oriental Saloon in Tombstone which is quite valuable in its own right as it was once owned by Wyatt Earp. The case is very showy and attractive, probably made in the 1950’s to 60’s. Condition of the case is very good plus. Est: $1,500 - $3,000
