Remington 1901 Target Rolling Block pistol, .22LR cal., 10” half round/half octagon barrel, blue finish, checkered wood grips, #2994. This gun is in overall very good condition showing approx. 30% original blueconfined primarily to the frame with balance of gun gone to a grey patina with scattered spots of erosion and pin prick pitting; crisp action, thumb lever on breech block is offset horizontally in order to be clear from the line of sight, adjustable rear sight, good bore, overall good wood grips and fore end that show even wear and scattered old mars from storage; only 735 made between 1901 and 1909 per factory records and the last of the rolling block handguns produced after a run of 44 years.
