NY.”; later “beefed” barrel hinge, dull, rough, blue-black, almost Parkerized factory finish, checkered black hard rubber grips, #L75686 with factory two-piece maroon cardboard box. This gun is in overall excellent condition showing little handling with approx. 99% original finish, fine bores, crisp actions, sharp markings and fine grips; factory box is good with some edge wear and scuffing with majority of end label present. According to Drummond, Johnson, Williams and Barnard’s book, “Dr. William H. A chance to obtain a rare Remington Double Deringer variation that in 1935, was known as the “closeout model” and sold for the whooping price of $8.00! Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
