This is an excellent, Norwegian Model 1914 semi-automatic pistol that was manufactured in 1945 by the Kongsberg Vaponfabrik factory in Kongsberg, Norway, and delivered to the Nazi occupation forces. This example is one of the last 935 pistols manufactured that was stamped with the German Army "Eagle/WaA38" Waffenamt proof. The left side of the slide is stamped with "Eagle/WaA38" acceptance stamp and test proof followed by: "11.25 m/m AUT. PISTOL M/1914 - No 29799". A Norwegian "Crown/K" proof mark is stamped above the serial number on the slide. The right side of the slide is stamped with the date "1945". The full serial number "29799" is stamped on the left side of the frame ahead of the slide stop and the partial serial number, ".799" is stamped on the slide stop, trigger, slide safety, grip safety, and mainspring housing. This pistol is complete with one original Norwegian Lanyard loop magazine.
