This revolver is one of a limited number of 154 revolvers authorized by the United States Historical Society. The revolver is a reproduction of a revolver gifted to Interpol in 1968 by David M. "Carbine" Williams that was originally engraved by R.J. Kornbrath, one of America's greatest gun engravers and was custom made to william's specifications. Williams was a former chain gang convict, (imprisoned for his involvement in "moonshining"), and held more than 60 patents for firearms, one being the legendary M-1 Carbine. The revolver has standard markings and features. Complete in a genuine leather "book" case with gold embossed Interpol logo on the cover and purple fitted lining with a satin covered inner lid. Also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity stating this is number 19 of 154. The limit of 154 was for the number of Interpol member countries there were when the project was announced.
