This is a beautiful example of an all original DWM 1906 Navy Commercial Luger. This specific pistol, still in its original condition, that retains the original "GESICHERT" safety markings in the lower position with "GELADEN" marking on the left side of the extractor. It has the characteristic six-inch Navy barrel, with the two-position (100 and 200 meter) adjustable rear sight, 1906 style grip safety and stock lug. It has the correct blank chamber area with the front toggle bears the DWM logo. The left side of the barrel extension has a "crown/N" proof, which is repeated on the underside of the barrel and the left side of the breech block and front toggle. It is correctly numbered in the commercial style with the full number on the underside of the barrel, and the front of the frame, with the last two digits of the serial on the various other small parts. It is fitted with set of checkered walnut grips and is complete with an original Navy type, nickel plated magazine with the unmarked wooden base with the concentric circles on the side.

Condition: Excellent overall with 98% plus of the original blued finish with only minor edge and high spot wear overall. The various small parts retain 75% of their original straw colors. The grips are also in excellent condition with excellent checkering on both sides with no handling marks, cracks or damage. The pistol has all matching numbers except the proper unnumbered magazine as noted, the firing pin which is also unnumbered and both grips which are numbered 25 and 03 on the back sides. An exceptionally rare early Model 1906 Naval Commercial Luger in original condition.
