Rare Colt Number 2 ring trigger Paterson rifle, .44 cal., 8-shot, showing 32" heavy octagon barrel, with factory mounted loading lever, right side of barrel cut with groove for loading with flask, serial #336; 1 ofonly 500 produced. The rifle remains in very good original condition, showing a light gray to brown patina finish on barrel, very sharp and crisp address on top of barrel; some light rust and surface erosion, somenicks at the edges, but generally sharp and crisp with original to-the-period front and rear sights. The loading lever shows original colors, is factory installed, and shows a slight crack in the holding ring that secures the plunger. The wedge shows bright original blue and is numbered to match, the bore is near excellent. The cylinder shows 90-100% original scene and appears to have been originally finished in the white as itis sharp and crisp, and shows no evidence of ever being blued. Some pinprick pitting and erosion just starting. The cylinder shows a matching number; the lower portion of the action shows considerable case hardening

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
