Rambo (2008) - Rambo's (Sylvester Stallone) SFX Blade Aluminum Machete.
Original screen-used SFX "cut blade" aluminum machete prop carried by Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo in the relentless action thriller Rambo (2008). Stallone stars as John Rambo, who leads a group of mercenaries into Burma to rescue Christian missionaries, who have been kidnapped by a local infantry unit.
The film co-stars Julie Benz, Paul Schulze, Matthew Marsden, Graham McTavish, Rey Gallegos, Tim Kang, Jake La Botz, Maung Maung Khin, and Ken Howard.
Likely made for sequences when Rambo is dismembering his foes, this piece is made of aluminum and has been crafted with quality and detail to resemble Rambo’s weapon of choice. The blade is dull and has been cut ¾ from the tip. The handle is wrapped with black grip-tape and features a small black strap for carrying. The blade has also been marked with several strips of tape, possibly for tracking purposes.
Measuring 15 1/2".
