- "P1" was also manufactured under licence by Manurhin.
- "P1" is marked on the left side of the slide.
- "P1" is a variation of the P38.
- "P1" features an aluminum alloy receiver/frame.
- "P1" may also be known as "Pistolet P1", "Pistole 1", "Pistol 1", "P-1", or "P38/P1".
- features include: fixed blade front sight on the barrel and a drift adjustable rear sight on the slide; blued round barrel; blued flat sided, open top steel slide with rear grip serrations; safety lever is mounted on the left hand side of the slide; black anodized aluminum alloy receiver/frame; exposed spur hammer, double/single action trigger mechanism; take-down lever, action release lever and lanyard loop are mounted on the left side of the receiver/frame; detachable box magazine release is located on the bottom of the rear grip strap, behind the magazine well; black checkered grip plates.

Packing & Shipping are available for an additional charge of $5.00 for the first 10 items and then a fee of $10.00 for quantities above 10 items plus the actual cost from Canada Post for mailing.
