Quality Reproduction 18th Century French Flintlock Holster Pistol, #F01769, .44 cal., key-retained 10.35" octagonal barrel marked with serial number, caliber, and mfr's markings on bottom flat, has dovetailed front and notched rear sights, and removable touchhole liner; flat lockplate has engraved border, swan-neck cock, marked "Le Page" below integral pan with flashguard; steel furniture comprises spurred trigger guard with urn front finial, adjustable trigger, fluted oval buttcap opening to trap for spares, banner-like sideplate (all engraved en suite); oil-finished walnut halfstock shows fine shell carving at nose, raised oval molding at butt. Condition is excellent, having bright metal finish with sharp edges, engraving and markings. Stock is smooth and unmarked showing lovely grain, color and finish. Action is crisp, bore is brilliant with sharp rifling and appears unfired (flint scratches to frizzen face the only sign of use). Est.: $500-$700. (No FFL Required)
