The only visible marking on the pistol is a "crown over script letter" proof mark on the left stock plate. The barrel has an integral blade front sight with a cannon muzzle. The pistol was converted to percussion. There is a clean out screw on the bolster. The spring was retained on the lock and a safety/nipple shield was installed above it. The spring is used to secure the safety when placed in engaged or disengaged position. The barrel tang has a notched raised section that serves as the rear sight. Iron backstrap and brass barrel band, trigger guard and buttcap with an iron lanyard ring and stud. Mounted with a one piece half stock.

Condition: Very fine. The metal surfaces have a smooth mottled brown crisp patina. The barrel band has an aged patina and the trigger guard and buttcap have a polished appearance. The stock is good with a couple of small gouges and overall scattered minor dings and scratches. The flats remain sharp. Mechanically fine.
