Pristine Colt pre-war Match Target Woodsman semi-automatic .22 caliber target pistol serial number MT54. Letter from Richards Sport Shop of Marquette, Michigan documents that this Woodsman was sold by them on4/18/1939 to Mr. Vernon Micklow and a copy of the original dealers record of sale book is included with the aforementioned letter..The pistol remains in fine to excellent original condition showing 98% to 99% plus brightoriginal finish that is very near excellent with just some very slight losses. The grips are fine to excellent. A correct Colt Woodsman Match Target marked clip is also included. The interior is pristine with abright bore showing some minor use and firing. A serial numbered to match Target tested by J. M. Malloy is included along with an instruction manual, shooting suggestions, green Woodsman tag and Stevens sight tag. Astrong 9.8 on 1 to 10 scale.
