The lot features a wonderful fully beaded Sioux Native American Indian flat bag from the 19th Century. The bag shows a unique round medallion or rosette radiating sun design with floral design on rear all done in period correct glass trade seed beads of chalk white, butterscotch, medium green, sky padre blue, semi-transparent amber, semi-transparent red, and blue. The bag shows a fancy beaded edge and a early trade clothe and calico construction. The bag displays well and would have possibly been a medicine pouch, coin purse or belt pouch. Provenance: From a Manheim, Pennsylvania collection. Measures 4” in diameter.
