Manufactured in 1937. One line address on top of the barrel, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45" on the left side and the two line, three patent dates on the left side of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and on the right side of the grip straps under the grip. The rear face of the cylinder carries the last two digits "28". Matching assembly number "455" on the right rear of the frame and on the loading gate. Standard fixed sights, blue finish with casehardened frame, dull blue hammer with polished sides and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the matching serial number marked on the inside of each panel.

Condition: Very fine as professionally refinished with 99% plus blue and casehardened finish remaining, show some minor pitting lightly visible under the finish on the right front of the barrel and on the cylinder. The grips are fine with some small minor dings along the bottom edges and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
