Manufactured in 1906. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." and the left side of the barrel has the caliber designation "38 W.C.F." at the breech. The Colt two line, three patent dates (1871, 1872 and 1875) marking is stamped on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is stamped on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap and the assembly number "676" is marked on the loading gate. The left side of the trigger guard has the Colt factory triangle proof and the number "5". The revolver has standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened frame and niter blue frame screw heads and fitted with deluxe fancy checkered Fleur-de-Lis walnut grips with Colt medallions at the top of each panel.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 85% plus original blue finish with scattered thinning and areas fading to a smooth gray patina. The cylinder shows a drag line and a number of cycling scratches. The frame retains 60% original case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The slightly undersize replacement grips are excellent with a few minor dings and very crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
