Solid matte rib barrels with a blade front sight with brass bead and folding leaf rear rifle sight marked "100" on the solid matte rib marked "8 x 57 J.R." in a panel at the breech end. The breech end of each barrel is marked "J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL" and "KRUPP - LAUFSTAHL" on each side. The nitro proofed barrels are marked with various proof marks and numbered to the gun. The 16 gauge barrels are rechambered to 2 7/8", chokes gauge at extra full/ extra full with an extractor. The rifle barrel is marked "7,8mm" on the bottom. The barrels and break lever are finished blue and the box lock, scalloped action and trigger guard are casehardened with light scroll engraving on the action, trigger guard and break lever. Each side of the action is marked "J. P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL" and the bottom is marked with the intertwined double "S" and "U" logo. Equipped with a tang barrel selector that raises the rib leaf sight when pushed forward to select the rifle barrel, Greener side safety and single cross bolt and 3 cocking indicators. Mounted with a checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a cheek piece, sling swivels and vented Pachmayr recoil pad. LOP is 14 1/2 inches.

Condition: Excellent. The barrels retain 97% original blue finish with some thinning and wear on the muzzle and breech ends and some minor wear from the forearm. The action retains60% original bright case colors with some smooth gray patina on the bottom and on the fences. The trigger guard retains 60% faded original case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The wood is also excellent with a few minor dings and scratches, and crisp checkering. Hair line cracks on each side of the action. The markings and engraving remain crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
