Manufactured in 1902. Fixed sights, with the one line address on top of the barrel and "45 COLT." on the left side. Smokeless powder frame, marked with the two line, three date patents on the left side next to the circled Rampant Colt, "W" above the firing pin hole, and "638" on the loading gate. Matching numbers on the frame and grip straps. Checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt logos at the tops.

Condition: Refinished, with cold browning solution touch-ups on the barrel. Traces of original blue remain in the protected areas, with a mixed brown and gray on the cylinder and grip straps, a dull brown on the remainder and scattered pitting. A spot of bright steel is visible on the left side of the recoil shield, with the rest of the frame a mixed gray. Grips are good, with a mended chip on the right toe and smoothed checkering. Half cock notch is out of position, otherwise mechanically functional.
