Manufactured in 1921. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38 SPECIAL" on the left side and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and on the left side of the front and back strap under the grip. The loading gate and right rear of the frame are marked with the assembly number "406". Blade front and frame notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 90% original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear. Some thinning on the front strap and outer edge of the ejector housing with a smooth mottled gray patina on the back strap. There are a few scratches on the cylinder. The frame retains 80% original case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance with a small amount of light spotting. The grips have faded to brown and remain fine with crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
