Manufactured in 1936. The slide has the standard two line address/1897-1913 patent dates on the left side, with the right side marked "COLT AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE .45" followed by the Rampant Colt. The right side of the frame is marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" over the serial number. The left front of the trigger guard bow is marked with the letter "X" over the Colt triangle "VP" proofmark, with the assembler's number "60" on the right side. Checkered trigger, slide stop, thumb safety, wide hammer spur and arched mainspring housing with a lanyard ring on the heel. The pistol has the post-WWI Colt bright commercial blue finish, two tone magazine with "COLT / 45 AUTO" marked on the bottom and is fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Condition: Professionally restored to near mint condition. The magazine has also been restored and remains very good. The grips are also restored with slight wear and very crisp recut checkering. The markings are highlighted in white and remain clear and crisp. Mechanically functions fine, but slide is a little stiff.
