The included factory letter confirms the serial number and blue finish with the caliber listed as 38-40 at time of shipping and the type of stocks not listed. The revolver was shipped to Simmons Hardware Company, St. Louis, Missouri, on September 3, 1910. The top of the barrel is stamped with the one line Hartford address and the left side is marked "(BISLEY MODEL)/COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". Left side of frame has the two line patent date information with a circled rampant colt. Fitted with checkered grips featuring rampant colt imprints numbered to the gun. Comes with a New York Sporting Goods basket weave leather holster with open top and toe.

Condition: Fine as factory rebarreled (see above). The barrel and ejector rod housing retain 80% original blue finish, grip straps retain 20% original blue finish and the cylinder retains scattered traces of original blue finish with the overall balance a mottled brown-gray patina. The frame retains traces of original case colors in the protected areas with the balance a mottled brown-gray patina. The grips are very good with worn checkering and slight warping at the bottoms. The holster is very good.
