The lot features two original Pre-Columbian Mayan effigy figures dating to circa 500 A.D. The figures are believed to be from the Maya in Belize and show two human effigy's constructed of terracotta stone. The first of the two figures shows much wear and patina indicative of its early age and represents a woman figure with large fanning headdress. The second piece shows a male figure in a headdress. These both are very unique and fine early Pre-Columbian Neolithic historic pieces. These each measure 2.5 inches wide and 4 inches in length respectively.
