Manufactured in 1950, there is an open dovetail near the muzzle end of the heavy barrel with two holes drilled and tapped with filler screws near the breech end and marked with the 3rd style marking and ".30 GOV'T.' 06". "Late" type safety and solid bolt knob. The straight tang receiver has a clip feeding slot and is drilled and tapped on top of the bridges and on the left rear side for sight/scope mounting with a one-piece Redfield base and a Lyman All-American 4x scope with rubber lens cover. Mounted on a smooth Marksman style walnut stock with front accessory rail with two sling swivels, a rear sling swivel and a checkered steel buttplate.

Condition: Professionally refinished (barrel), the barrel retains 70% blue finish with the caliber remarked. The receiver retains 97% thinning original blue with some high edge wear and scratches along the stock line. The bolt has been remarked to the gun and has considerable finish loss. The stock has been lightly refinished and remains very good with some scattered scratches and dings. Scope is good with scratches and wear with clear optics.
