Pre-64 1957 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight G7023CN .270 Win. 22" Bolt Action Rifle

Our Assessment: The Winchester Model 70 is an iconic American sporting rifle that has been a staple of hunters for more than 80 years; reliable, robust, and accurate, it is one of the benchmarks by which all bolt action rifles are measured. It has more than earned its nickname of "The Riflemans Rifle", a true icon. This is a lovely Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight made in 1957. The rifle is chambered in .270 Winchester Centerfire, making it ideal for hunting most game up to deer. In addition to the shorter barrel, it has an alloy trigger guard/floorplate assembly and an alloy buttplate for weight savings. The rifle is in about Fine-plus condition with minor wear typical of a deer rifle that has seen limited time in the field. The bore is nice and the mechanics are strong. Don't miss out on this vintage classic.
