Polish nadiziak war hammer. Popular with the nobility between the 16th-18th centuries. They could be used from horseback or foot during war and as a formidable walking stick. Heavy iron head with vine designs. Shaft is made of hardened leather with an iron rod running through the center. 17th-19th century. Dark patina to iron head and some wear to shaft. Head measures 7” long and 35”overall. Est.: $500-$600.
